I love her voice..I love the song..I love the meaning..check for QC for songs I love. Because, there are so many singer with great voice, but tend to sing songs about adultery, not something to be proud about,or something I can not relate to when I got to see their video clips..like, what are you doing Gaga, what is your video about..? Rihana..what did you do with your Californian Spring Bed..? Oooh, just a joke..I love their voice but the other parts..mm, let me think about it..

I want to simply talk everything out.. these past three years were like a stumble on the same rock, or like my mind bumping on walls. I have been freelancing, or so I thought, in fashion design. But later on I realized, that what I was doing, was merely a self-employment work. I designed, made patterns, cut, sew, done the fitting, correction..almost all by myself. But my mother and sister..two angelic hearts, helped me when I needed another pair of hands..lucky me.

Funny things, though my family told me to move on, go to college and do my job in another way.. I simply could not digest information answer anymore, because my mind got blocked out of stress that I did not know any other way of doing things than how I have already done.

i.e... I was not going out to meet new friends (where I've been told: new acquaintances emerge new chances), I was not planted in a community (where I then realized that I am too a social person). Ok, not too make me look like an oyster (always in it's shell) too much..I did go out and meet new people in church, but not as often as I needed.

Daily life.. those three years were like an imprisonment, I was locked up in stagnancy. To be honest..I adore those designers who manage to deliver awesome collections and yet be able to reach the market through business strategies. Yes, business strategies..like, that's what missing in my shelf...

As i move forward,I want to do more than just going to college like I do now.. I'm a college student at BSI Jakarta..^_^ studying Public Relations..as my prior defect in building relations..

Things I came to be aware was I want to contribute in the society. I realized I want to learn what other people like and don't like, how they are in personality and how I can help them in someway. I'm not gonna wait until I hit my 80th anniversary, because I am gonna leave positive heritage for people to talk about at my funeral..oh, well..a little bit extravagant, but everybody is going to die, not for anyone to forget..... (I think this blog entry is not going to boost up my web popularity..) ^__^"

But, just like my blog's name: Uniquely Genuine, I want to express myself as I am, not anybody else, who is enormously successful, but someone who is a human on the way finding the path to the red line of God's plan for their life..

So..so sweet, how this Korean series in 2009 tells about the innocence of falling in love, after all first rejection of Tae Kyung regarding her annoying existence..to be open and slowly understanding each other.. I love Jang Geun Suk's expressions of how he acts after hugging her at the airport, whispering he loves her...what a smile..!!! it's like he truly loves her and at the same time bringing up the character of Tae Kyung.. harsh at the outside but sweet and childish at the inside, his smile is like saying "so happy to have you around" ^^

My Favourite Book, Purpose Driven Life

Foreword

Actually,I tend to quit reading a book before I read the whole part of it (this bad reading behavior has to stop..).

Because images capture my attention better than texts do.  So mostly, I consume fashion magazines, or National Geography magazines and other photographic magazines--> my must visit section in bookstores.

But I can not possibly describe a magazine which always change issue every month (at least for this college assignment),... or the other book I love which is language learning books.. I read Chinese and Korean language books..=))

But, Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren is different because it is very inspiring and touching, and most important ..it elevates my point of view about life.

Because this book talks about Christianity, I will excerpt only some quotes I feel express general philosophy..and the parts of Jesus' words which will provoke only open discussion, not dispute.

This book is about living your life for a divine purpose. At first, this book questions about your meaning of life. Our live is not about ourselves, nor our personal achievements, not even our peace of mind or happiness. "You are made by God and for God - and until you understand that life will never make sense" Only God our Creator, can tell us our life's purpose...He knows best ^^

A self development for prestige and pride is not the ultimate goal of our life. To become a person giving impact in other people's life is why we live. So it's a must that we alter every sweet and also bitter experiences in our life to be a blessing to others. Give an example, we might be able to advise someone better for credit card payment failure, if we have had the same problem (no,trust me, I had none..)...or show empathy to our friends who grieves for their family member loss, after we have had experienced the same despair.

At the next chapter, Rick Warren talks about restoring broken relationships. I think normally, everyone love "peace" as in a good relationship between human being. Jesus said," Blessed are those who work for peace." Peacemakers are rare because peacemaking is hard work.
Peacemaking is not avoiding conflict. Running from problem & pretending it does not exist or being afraid to talk about it is actually cowardice.

Jesus, the Prince of Peace,was never afraid of conflicts. On occasion he provoked it for the good of everyone. Sometimes we need to avoid it, sometimes we have to provoke it, sometimes we need to resolve it. We need wisdom to decide which response we should take at emerging conflicts. But we also have to see the problem from the others point of view, " Look out for one another's interests, not just for your own."

So our life is to bring impact in other people's life..to bless.

My Korean Drama Fever is ==> You are Beautiful

He's Beautiful (Hangul: 미남이시네요, Romanized: Minamishineyo, literally: He's a handsome man, early broadcast generally known: You're Beautiful ) is a South Korean drama about a fictional boy band A.N.Jell and the relationship between its members when a female, posing as her twin brother, joins the group. The series aired from October 7 to November 26, 2009 on the Korean network SBS. It starred Park Shin-hye, Jang Geun Suk, Lee Hong Ki and Jung Yong Hwa.


Go Mi Nyu (Park Shin Hye) is a sister in training, really dedicated to be soon sworn to be a nun. Her twin brother Go Mi Nam successfully auditions for the musical band A.N.JELL but is forced to leave for the United States to correct a botched plastic surgery. Mi Nyu is induced by Mi Nam's manager to act as Mi Nam while he recovers. She is against it at first but agrees in order to fulfill her dream of finding their mother. Now, posing as Mi Nam, Mi Nyu enters the group A.N.JELL and meets its members: Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk), Kang Shin Woo (Jung Yong Hwa) and Jeremy (Lee Hong Ki).


Go Mi Nyu, concealing her identity as Go Mi Nam, faces a lot of trouble with music band leader Tae Kyung, who was against her very existence from the beginning. Not enough trouble to get in, Kang Shin Woo realized her faking her identity. But lucky her, Kang Shin Woo turned out to be her secretly guarding angel in times of trouble. Tae Kyung, comes to realize it not long after Shin Woo. But Tae Kyung, act like his previous attitude towards her, hostile and unsupportive, yet the difference, Tae Kyung tells Go Mi Nam that he knows her secret identity. I bet you want to watch this drama now!! haha..^.^


Funny things happen as Tae Kyung acts ignorant to her, but at the end he tends to help her. Jeremy watching the weird relation between Tae Kyung with Mi Nam and Shin Woo with Mi Nam from behind,gets confused and suspicious of Tae Kyung and Shin Woo being too nice to Mi Nam. Jeremy was the only A.N.Jell's member not noticing her being a woman,till the last episodes. Though so, Jeremy falls in love with her "lady-like" beauty and simply irresistable sweet gestures...this drove him a little bit nuts contemplating his feelings for a woman he thinks is a man.
Finally, each of A.N.Jells member tries to win Go Mi Nam's heart..but even her choice to love someone is controversial because she will soon be sworn as a nun. And after she decided to love this person, she is also not sure what response she would get since she brought enough troubles already to A.N.Jell with a fake identity.


This drama is very special to me because it folds in together several different characters of the innocent,cheerful yet hard striving Go Mi Nam ;with Tae Kyung who is hostile, perfectionist, unwilling to show feelings and sorrow yet become warm and caring towards Go Mi Nam later on ; Shin Woo who does not reveal he figured out her secret yet trying to get to know her and protect her and asking her out secretly but always had to hold down his feelings and be patient and turned down by Go Mi Nam; Jeremy who is very cheerful and instinctively fell in love with Mi Nam. The scenes in this drama includes very lovely songs like Eodokkajyo (What should I do), Promise(Yaksok), Yojeonhi(Still/As Ever), My Heart's Cursing (Gasseumi Yokhae), Lovely Day, Without Words...all songs can be seen on youtube.. One unique thing is that I learned an old song out of watching this TV series, "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra first released in 1964,at the episode where Mi Nam picked this song for Tae Kyung to sing,after Tae Kyung said he would sing any kind of song for her ...ooh,how sweet ^.^


Because of this drama..I started to learn Korean in August 2010, to go there and play in a TV series with Jang Geun Suk, I am impressed by his acting... he is totally bringing up the character..Beside that, I also wrote down the original soundtracks and sung till I memorized some OST's lyrics..


In Indonesia, this romance comedy Korean Drama was broadcast in the second half semester of 2010 on Indosiar network channel. I am very delighted watching this drama...maybe this is also the public opinion of Asia, so that Japan even remade the drama in July 2011,named Ikemen desu ne. Every single star of You're Beautiful accepted award for their role in this drama.
Jang Geun Suk received the SBS Drama Awards(2009): Teens' Star Award (Actor) - You're Beautiful and SBS Drama Awards(2009): Netizens' Popularity Award - You're Beautiful. While Park Shin Hye, Lee Hong Ki and Jung Yong Hwa received the SBS Drama Awards(2009): New Star Award.
